OUR APPROACH
We belive that dancing and learning to dance should be fun. Our learners tell us that our classes are enjoyable and we only teach one dance each session so there is no pressure. After the 90 minute class, which includes breaks, we play music so you can socialise and practise what you have learnt. We are also there to help with guidance and support.
Currently we teach:
LATINO
Salsa - Cuban and New York style
Merengue - from the Dominican Republic
Lambada - "the" Brazilian dance
Cumbia - the national dance ofColombia
For more information on the history and styles of the dances check our site map
LeROC
Le Roc is French for rock'n'roll. Combined as one word and brought into the English language it is the name given to a stylish, modern
jive which can be danced to virtually any music.
LeRoc is easy to learn. In your very first lesson you can learn three to four moves so you can start enjoying it very quickly without having to practise boring exercises.
There are no fancy footwork steps with this dance , all you need is some rhythm, a bit of energy and a quest for fun!
BALLROOM & LATIN AMERICAN
We don´t use a "strictly come dancing approach" but can teach you all the well known ballroom and Latin American dances, including:
Ballroom - Waltz, Quickstep, Foxtrot, Tango
Latin American - Cha Cha Cha, Rumba, Samba
We also support the learning from our classes with CD and instruction sheets.
