I joined "Dumbbell Dynamics" in September 2009 and was immediately impressed with the classes, attending twice per week.
After 4 weeks, Mike told me about the personal "Health and Fitness programme" they offered, and decided to enrol on the programme.
My first "weigh-in" showed what Shape my body was in, and amongst other things, measured my body fat percentage and my metabolic rate compared to my age. Although the results showed that I was in the healthy range on most of the readings there was room for improvement. On the 28 July 2010 I had my sixth "weigh-in" and my results were absolutely brilliant!
I had lost 18lb, my body fat was reduced by almost 7%, and for a 49 year old I have the metabolic rate of a 33 year old - Fantastic!
The classes have shown me how effective exercise can be, together with eating a balanced healthy diet. The programme has given me useful tips and valuable information on nutrition, and together with the exercise classes I am fitter and healthier than I have been for a long time!
